COVID-19 Precautionary Measures

Precautionary Measures taken by Spaghetti Works

For COVID-19

(*note- where a lot of these were implemented prior to COVID-19 pandemic, they have either been enhanced or modified to help ensure the safety of our staff and customers)

What Precautions is Spaghetti Works taking for COVID-19?

These precautionary measures were established across all three locations and are currently being enforced by management and observed by all staff members.

Staff Precautionary Measures

Wellness checks prior to starting a shift

All staff entering to start a shift is instructed to undergo a wellness check that includes hand washing, temperature check, and health questions screening. We have implemented this to ensure that anyone showing possible symptoms of COVID-19 are excused from work and requested to be tested prior to returning to work. Spaghetti Works does not feel comfortable taking the risk of exposing any of our other staff members or customers to someone who may be showing symptoms.

Staff currently awaiting test results on a COVID-19 tests are given leave until test results come back and show negative, or if they exceed the recommended quarantine period set forth by Center of Disease Control (CDC) guidelines.

Staff are required to wear masks while working

Knowing that COVID-19 has currently showed asymptomatic carriers (someone who currently can spread the COVID-19 virus but doesn’t show any symptoms of the virus), we have required all staff dealing directly with customers to wear face-covering masks. This helps any asymptomatic staff or customer not pass the disease between each other.

Enhanced Sanitation Processes have been implemented for all locations

Where Spaghetti Works has always held cleanliness and sanitation in a high light, during this time we have implemented and currently enforce further precautions to ensure your safety. These precautions include but are not limited to the following done every hour while operating:

  • More readily available and frequent sanitizing stations for staff.
  • High contact surfaces are cleaned hourly with disinfectant this includes but is not limited to: handrails, doorknobs and door handles, bathroom surfaces, and counters of the salad bars. These cleaning practices were in place prior to COVID-19 but no are to be signed off by both employee who did the cleaning and the manager.
  • Tables are wiped down between customer seatings, the tables are sprayed with a disinfectant and wiped with a clean towel soaked in sanitizer water that is changed after 5 uses. This not only kills any germs that may be on the table but will also not leave the table damp from spray. Tables are also social distanced in accordance to CDC and local guidelines of the state.
  • The server stations monitors are to be wiped down with special disinfectant that is not harmful to the touch screen but still kill any germs residing on the surface of the monitor.

Condiments and shakers available at the tables

Spaghetti Works has decided to put shakers and condiments back onto our tables. We wipe these down in between customer seatings to ensure no germs are on any condiment container when you sit down. Menus are cleaned in the same function. If you do not wish to use a physical menu, QR codes that link to the menu are available at each table for contact-less menus. If you do not wish to use the condiments on your table in favor of pre-packaged condiments, please let your server know and they will be more than happy to get you the packets we have on hand.

Do We Require Our Guests to Wear Masks?

No, Spaghetti Works currently is not requiring guests to wear masks during entering, exiting, or while dining. We do encourage guests to feel as safe and comfortable as do not discourage wearing masks if the customer chooses to do so.

Salad Bar Precautions

Spaghetti Works is well known for our salad bar and beloved by our customers. We are happy to announce that our salad bars at all 3 locations are open an operating under normal circumstances with enhanced cleaning procedures.

Do you still accept cash payments?

Spaghetti Works is still accepting cash payments. We do want to note that with the current coin shortage we are finding it a little difficult to find exact change. We will do our best to ensure everyone is given the correct change or as close to possible with the coins we have on hand. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
